The Division of Aquatic and Wildlife Resources (DAWR) is looking for motivated individuals passionate about conservation, fisheries, wildlife, marine resources, and field work on Guam.

Starting Salary: $34,886/year+

Application Period:
May 8, 2026 – May 29, 2026

Open to Government of Guam employees and the public.

This position may include:

  • Fisheries surveys

  • Wildlife monitoring

  • Marine and terrestrial field work

  • Boat operations

  • Animal care & research support

  • Habitat projects

  • Building and maintaining field equipment

  • Working alongside biologists and conservation staff

Qualification Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or possession of a certificate of high school equivalency (GED) and two (2) years of progressively responsible experience as a Fish and Wildlife Technician I; or

  • Graduation from high school or possession of a certificate of high school equivalency (GED) and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in field or laboratory work in the areas of fish, wildlife and endangered species conservation, management, and research; or

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the minimum knowledges, abilities and skills.
